What if the appetizer you brought to your next dinner party wasn’t just delicious but helped promote healthy hair growth too? Nutritionist and health expert Joy Bauer shares her healthy hair growth recipe for Garlicky Spinach Dip, packed with folate and iron.
Spinach nurtures your entire body, including your hair, thanks to folate and iron. Folate is a B vitamin that assists in the formation of red blood cells, while iron helps these blood cells transport oxygen around the body. Iron deficiency, or anemia, (a common problem for women of childbearing age) limits the amount of oxygen that reaches body cells, preventing them from functioning properly. Symptoms can include weakness, fatigue, and in some cases, hair loss. Try this delicious and easy recipe to get more of Popeye’s favorite green in your diet to promote healthy hair growth.
